Dean Alan Miller

Dean Alan Miller, 55, of Dawsonville, died May 14, 2015.

Mr. Miller was born Dec. 28, 1959 in Bluffton, Ohio.

Previously of Port Orange, Florida, he had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 20 years.

A member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Alpharetta, he worked for Home Depot in Cumming and Dawsonville for the past 15 years.

Dedicating his life to being a loving husband, father and grandfather, his wife, Susan Nelson Miller and father, Paul Edward Miller, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Jessica Miller; daughter, Kristen Miller of Cumming; mother, Ellen-Mae Miller of Ohio; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and Neil Pauff, Cheryl and Richard Bayless, all of Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Nina Miller of Tennessee; grandson, Ryland Miller; various other relatives also survive.

A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. May 15 at Messiah Lutheran Church. Interment followed at 11:30 a.m. at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The Pastor Larry Zahn officiated.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested to help offset final expenses.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
