Outback can now put these kinds of signs at its Dawson County location after Planning Commission's vote

David Allen Welch

David Allen Welch, 56, of Dawsonville, died Sept. 1, 2018.

He was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church in Dawsonville where he served as an Elder of the Church.  David was a loving husband and father who loved helping others, sailing and had a special affection for stray cats.  He was an exceptional pizza cook and even had one of his specialty pizzas featured in a Kansas Pizzeria. 

His father, Robert Nelson Welch, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his loving wife, Stacie Welch of Dawsonville; children, Brianna Welch and Ian Welch, both of Dawsonville; mother, Mary Bowen Welch of Overland Park, Kan.; sisters, Margie Galloway of Overland Park, Kan., Christie  Wells of St. Paul, Minn.; three nieces and three nephews; various other relatives also survive.

A Celebration of Life was held at 5 p.m. Sept. 4 at Cornerstone Christian Church in Dawsonville.

The family received friends from 4 p.m. until service time Sept. 4 at the church. 

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
