Clinton Chester, 74, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 19, 2017.
Born May 19, 1943 in Dawsonville to the late Arnold and Lona Mae Chester, Clinton was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was employed at Sweet-Orr for over 32 years.
His wife, Charldine Chester, preceded him in death.
Survors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Robert Gorski, of Dawsonville, Samantha and Richard Scott of Dublin; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sandra Chester of Dahlonega; sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Dale Hampton of Roswell; brother and sister-in-law, Clifton and Joyce Chester of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Katelyn Gorski, Alexander Gorski, Amelia Gorski, Mack Scott, Liam Scott; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 22 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Byrd officiating. Interment followed in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends at the funeral home on from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Dec. 21.
