Clayton Free, 80, of Cumming, died June 1, 2010.

  

He retired from Mar Jac Poultry at the age of 75, after 44 years of service.

  

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Kathryn Day Free of Cumming; children, Charles and Maria Free of Dawonville, Helen and Ron Bennett, Barbara and Ken Townley, all of Cumming; grandchildren, Phillip Bennett, Nick Wilbanks, Jill Wilbanks, Krystle and Philip Lyerly, Chase Wilbanks, Clay Free, Crystal Hanson, Katie Free, Joey and Brandy Bennett, Melissa Driggers; one great-grandson, Jackson Driggers; brother, Robert Free of Cumming; sister, Ethel Sosebee of Blue Ridge; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. June 4 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Clark Watson, Doug Carnes and Edwin Terry officiating.

  

Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

  

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
