Cicero David Turk, III, 63, of Dahlonega, died Sept. 14, 2018. Born in Gray, Ga., he was the son of Ruby Turk and the late Cicero Turk. Survivors include his wife, Evi; daughters, Julie and Chrissy; mother, Ruby; siblings, Donna and Darrell; three grandchildren, Charlie, Avery, and Sally; various other relatives also survive. David attended Jones County High School graduating valedictorian of his class. After college at Young Harris, David attended Mercer Law School. David had a long and distinguished career serving as district attorney, public defender and judge. He adored his wife and family and was widely known for being a champion and advocate to those around him.
