Chris Pruett, 34, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 23, 2010.

A native of Orlando, Fla., he had lived in Dawson County for the past 30 years.

His father, Jay H. Pruett, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother, Janet Pruett of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Heather Pruett of Cumming; grandmother, Venitta Pruett of Dawsonville; special friends, Sherry and David Davenport of Dahlonega; niece, Marinda Pruett of Dahlonega; nephews, Devin Pruett of Dahlonega, Hunter Pruett of Cumming; great-nephew, Matthew Pruett of Dahlonega; special cousins, Pam and Joey Andrilla of Orlando, Fla.; various other relatives also survive.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Oct. 26 at McKees Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Chad Rogers officiating.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
