Charles Edgar Lamb, 72, of Cumming, died Nov. 12, 2016.

He was co-owner of Bennett's Marine. He spent most of his life on the lake and had a love for boats.

Charles always had a smile on his face and loved helping other people.

He lived life to the fullest.

His father, John E. Lamb; brother, Donald Lamb; mother-in-law, Mable Williams, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Sally Jo Lamb of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Julie Lamb of Cumming; stepsons, Michael and Melinda McBrayer of Greenville, S.C., John and Jennifer McBrayer of Cumming; mother, Virginia Lamb of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Rita Lamb, Michael and Connie Lamb, all of Cumming; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Jackie Thomason, Judy and Tallmadge Adams, all of Cumming; grandchildren, Bowen Miller, Jordan McBrayer, both of Greenville, S.C., Jamie and Brooks Ross of Cumming, Shay Bailey of Foley, Ala.; great-grandchildren, Piper Cagle of Cumming, Bailey and Noah Huhn, both of Foley, Ala.; mother of his son, Elaine Lamb of Dawsonville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Anita and Alvin Kilpatrick of Augusta; special friends, A.J. and Hunter Olsen, both of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 18 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ruel Martin and Danny Bennett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please do a random act of kindness for someone in need.
