Charles "Darrell" Holloway, 73, of Alpharetta, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010.


He was a member of Daves Creek Baptist Church and veteran of the U.S. Army.


Survivors include his children, Leslie and Matt Steiner of Alpharetta, Sharon and Randall Gissendaner, Charles Holloway, all of Covington, Daylan Holloway of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Kearstyne, Brianna and Lindsay; great-granddaughter, Haven; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah Ann and Royce Cash of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.


A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Feb. 20 at Daves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Cantrell officiating.


In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to Daves Creek Baptist Church, 1597 Old Atlanta Road, Cumming, GA 30041.


Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
