Charles B. Morris, 94, of Cumming, died Aug. 5, 2010.

  

He worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps before graduating from the University of Maryland.

  

He also was a B-24 Pilot (15th Air Corps) during World War II. Captain Morris was a pilot with Pan American Airways for 30 years.

  

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Sara Vinson Morris of Cumming; children, Charles B. Morris Jr. and wife, Linda, of Atlanta, Thomas V. Morris and wife, Judy, of Baltimore, Md., Ann Morris of Big Canoe; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at noon Aug. 9 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Preuss officiating. Interment followed in Delmar, Md.

  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cumming First United Methodist Church, 770 Canton Hwy., Cumming, GA 30040.

  

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
