Carson Ray Frier, 16, of Cumming, died Aug. 15, 2013.

Carson was attending his junior year at Forsyth Central High School. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed baseball, basketball, football and all Georgia Tech sports.

He also loved any outdoor activities and especially loved the beach.

His grandfather, Billy Ray Miller, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his parents, Tim and Kelly Frier of Cumming; brothers and sister, Casey Frier, Kelsey Frier, Kevin Frier; grandparents, Lynn Miller of Douglasville, Steve and Peggy Frier of Marietta; aunts and uncles, Mick and Alicia Miller of Douglasville, Mark and Linda Miller of Villa Rica, Kim and Charles Harris of Douglasville, Debbie and David Kaiser of Woodstock; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Aug. 20 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Travis Bridgeman officiating. Entombment followed at Sawnee View Mausoleum.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
