Carol Garrett, 72, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 6, 2017. Born May 20, 1945 in Lumpkin County to the late Archie and Bertie Davis, she lived most of her life in Dawson County. A homemaker at her death, she was formerly employed at Coca-Cola in Gainesville. Carol was well known for baking her delicious cakes, and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
