Brindia Lorene Ray, 75, of Dawsonville died March 26, 2018. Born March 1, 1943 in Mt. Olive, Ala. to the late Hiram and Alice Wicks, she had lived in Dawson County for the past 29 years having moved from Lumpkin County. Brindia was employed by Owens Farms, Inc. for 30 years after which she worked several years as a caregiver. She enjoyed art and loved to crotchet. Her husband of 50 years, James Lee Ray; daughter, Anita Prichard; son, Mark Ray; two sisters and four brothers, preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, James Timothy Ray of Dawsonville, Lucas and Celina Ray of Dawsonville; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Tim Prichard of Dawsonville; sister-in-law, Frances Bruce Ray of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.
