Brett Myers, 27, of Dawsonville, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009.

Born June 9, 1982, Mr. Myers was a native of Lithia Springs and moved to Dawson County in 1983. He graduated from Dawson County High School in 2000 and worked as a Harley Davidson technician.

Survivors include his son, William Jett Myers of Crystal Springs, Fla.; parents, Craig and Sally Myers of Dawsonville; brother, Andy Myers of Dawsonville; grandparents, Paul and Nancy Nichols of Dawsonville, Elaine Myers of Pell City, Ala.; uncles and aunt, Brad and Jan Nichols of Cumming, Kevin Myers of Pell City, Ala.; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to KARE for Kids, P.O. Box 211, Dawsonville, GA 30534.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
