Brenda Frost Seay, 73, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 25, 2015.
Born Feb. 21, 1942 in Atlanta to the late Charles E. and Frances Frost, she had lived in Dawson County for the past 42 years.
Brenda formerly owned and operated Etowah Design.
Since moving to Dawson County she had also served on the Dawson County Board of Education, the Dawson County Board of Registrars, served as president of the P.T.A. for several years, was a school bus driver for many years, taught lifeguard training for Dawson County Park and Recreation for many years and served in many other organizations that greatly benefitted Dawson County.
She possessed a passion for horses, painting, gardening and canning, but her greatest devotion in life was to her family and her greatest service was as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Seay was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Dahlonega Ward.
Her grandson, Tyler Seay, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Donnie Seay of Dawsonville; children, Ken Seay, Todd and Michele Seay, DeeAnna and Eric Toal, Donna Buyers, David and Tammy Seay, all of Dawsonville; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Jantzen of Winder; brother, Douglas Frost of Winder; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Dahlonega Ward with the Bishop Robert Weischedel officiating. Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
