Bobby Wallace

Bobby Wallace, 71, of Dawsonville, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009.

  

Born Aug. 8, 1938, Mr. Wallace was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. He retired as Supervisor of Security at North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall.

  

Prior to working there, Mr. Wallace was a truck driver for Hydratane LP Gas Company, and owned and operated B&G Grocery, Wallace Corner and Wallace Auto Parts.

  

His son, Nick Wallace; and, father, General Wallace, preceded him in death.

  

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Jo Wallace of Dawsonville; sons, Scott Wallace, Bobby Wallace, both of Dawsonville; mother, Mabel Wallace of Dawsonville; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Robert Rice of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Lauren Wallace, Megan Wallace, Amy Wallace, Madison Wallace and Cameron Wallace; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13 at Harmony Baptist Church with the Revs. J.W. Day and Leroy Blackwell officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
