Betty Jo Malone, 83, of Cumming, died May 29, 2010.

She was a loving wife and mother. She moved to Cumming from Dallas, Texas in 1965.

Her husband, Jimmy Ray Malone; and a son, Mike Malone, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Calcagno of Alpharetta; son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Lisa Malone of Dawsonville; daughter-in-law, Sherrie Malone of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Jason and wife Kim Malone of Dahlonega, Meredith Malone of Dawsonville; great-granddaughter, Maddy Malone of Dahlonega; brother, Bryant Smith of Elberton; sister, Amilee Seelig of College Station, Texas; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. June 2 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Gattis officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
