Betty Jane Swenson, 87, of Dawsonville, died March 11, 2019. Born Jan. 23, 1932 in Tallahassee, Fla. to the late Max O. and Emma Watson, she had lived in Dawsonville since 2008 having moved from McDonough. Along with her husband, they owned and operated A-OK Heating and Cooling. Betty was a wonderfully funny, strong, loving woman who was adored by all. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to give a special thanks to all who assisted with her care the past few years. Her husband, Merlyn E. “Mike” Swenson; and brothers, Ralph Watson, Tommy Watson, Max Watson, and T. C. Raker, preceded her in death.
