Bertie Allene McBrayer, 88, of Forsyth County, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009.

  

She was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

  

Her husband, W.A. McBrayer; two daughters, Juanita McBrayer and Ida Lou McBrayer; son, Dean McBrayer and a great-grandchild, Lucas McBrayer, preceded her in death.

  

Survivors include her children, Doris Smith, Eva and Winford Bennett, all of Dawsonville, Betty and Clendon Hamby, Calvin McBrayer, Carroll McBrayer, Becky McBrayer, Delores Bennett, all of Cumming, Charles McBrayer of Buford; 29 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26 at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ruel Martin, Dennis Bottoms and Scott Sorrells officiating.

  

Interment followed in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

  

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
