Barbara Jean Turner, 70, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009.

  

She was a member of Haw Creek Baptist Church and a dedicated mother who worked hard her entire life at the family business.

  

Her hobbies involved cheering on the Braves and NASCAR racing.

  

Her parents, Anderson and Bertie Holtzclaw, preceded her in death.

  

Survivors include her children, Deborah Gee of Cumming, Terry and Pam Turner of Dawsonville, Karen and Stephen Friedman of Scottsdale, Ariz., Lorraine and John Lovell of Cleveland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Emma Lou and Maxie Hubbard of Athens, Betty Ann and Bill Grove of Laurel, Md., Nellie Gibson of Cumming; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Randall Woody and Danny Ray Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Coal Mountain Church Cemetery in Cumming.

  

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming is in charge of the arrangements.
