Arthur Atkinson, 47, of Cumming, died Jan. 12, 2012.

He was a local businessman and the founder of Paddy's Taxi.

Survivors include his parents, Virgil and Tamra Atkinson of Cumming; fiancée, Claudine Bean of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Sheila of Dawsonville; their daughters, Ashley and Tabitha; brother and sister-in-law, Virgil and Kimberly of Canton; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 15 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Interment followed at Macedonia Gardens Cemetery.

McDonald and Son Funeral Home of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
