Ann Anderson, 76, of Dawsonville, died June 21, 2013.

Born Oct. 29, 1936 in Forsyth County to the late Ford E. and Nancy Pearl Phillips, Ann lived most of her life in Dawson County.

A homemaker at her death, she formerly owned and operated Ann's Dress Shop in Dawsonville, after which she assisted in the operation of Silver City Carpet.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Her husband of 55 years, Robert L. "Bobby" Anderson; son, Ricky Anderson; and brother, James "Jim" Phillips, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Judy Anderson; sister, Sara Hughes; sister-in-law, Betty R. Love; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene Anderson, Dan and Vanita Anderson, all of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Joel Anderson, Julia and Corey Ray; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Ray; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. June 24 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Corey Ray officiating. Interment followed in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
