Anita Faith Jones, 47, of Dawsonville, died July 10, 2017.
Born March 12, 1970 in Kennett, Mo., she had lived in Dawson County for the past 16 years, having moved from Forsyth County.
Anita was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, MiMi and aunt, who devoted her life to her family and her church.
A pillar in the Jesus' Name Apostolic Church, she served in many leadership positions. She was active in the Dawson Christian Academy, the Dawson Community Food Bank and other community organizations.
Her life can best be described by Proverbs 31:10, "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies," and Proverbs 31:25, "Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come."
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Ronald Jones of Dawsonville; children, Naomi Ruth and Dusty Etris, Hannah and Marcus Stowers, Esther Faith Jones, Lydia Jones, Sarah Jones, all of Dawsonville; parents, Robert and Linda Benson of Dawsonville; grandmother, Sylvia Benson of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Isaac Etris, Sydney Etris, Liam Etris, Beau Stowers, Lyla Stowers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hope and Jesse Chism, Charity Benson, Rebecca and Kenneth Krantz, all of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Dina Benson of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. July 15 at Jesus' Name Apostolic Church with the Pastor Jesse Chism officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
