Allen Eugene McEntyre of Dawsonville, died May 18, 2013.

Born in Stockbridge, Allen had lived in Dawson County for more than 30 years.

He was retired from I.B.E.W. Electrical Workers Union and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

At his request, Mr. McEntyre was cremated and a family celebration of his life was held in Stockbridge.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
