Aline Stephens, 84, of Dawsonville, died Sept. 3, 2017.
Born Nov. 17, 1932 to the late Farris and Annie Mae Ledbetter, she lived most of her life in Dawson County.
A homemaker at her death, she was formerly employed at Sweet Orr after which she worked with her husband at S&H Sales. Aline devoted much of her life to caring for her family. She was a member of Amicalola Baptist Church.
Her husband, Johnny Stephens; daughters, Gayle Beebe and Janice Harben; grandson, Jason Harben; sister, Wynell (Toy) Chumley; brothers, Hubert (Marcelle) Ledbetter, G.W. Ledbetter and James Ledbetter, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Debbie Rowell of Dawsonville, Sherri and Bob Kelly of Dacula; granddaughter, Erin Kelly; son-in-law, Danny Harben of Dawsonville; sister and brother-in-law, Eulalie and Johnny Philyaw of Dawsonville; brother and sisters-in-law, Loy and Delores Ledbetter of Dawsonville, Yvonne Ledbetter of Dawsonville, Lois Ledbetter of Jasper; granddaughter-in-law, Jenaline Butterworth; devoted friends and caregivers; Weba Loggins and her family; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sept. 5 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Stradley officiating. Interment followed in the Amicalola Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 4 at the funeral home.
Bearden Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
