Alesia "Lisa" Blanton, 52, of Dawsonville, died March 6, 2013.

Born Nov. 20, 1960, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. A homemaker at her death, Lisa was formerly employed at the Dawsonville Pool Room.

She was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.

Her father, James Kent; and an infant sister, Shirley Jean Kent, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Melanie Blanton of Dawsonville; fiancé, Richie Ledesma of Dawsonville; grandson, Sawyer Ledesma of Dawsonville; mother, Louise Kent of Dawsonville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Everett Evans, Sybil and Terry Thurmond, Mary Ellen Kent, Pan Smith and Terry Turner of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Ruth Kent, Larry and Page Kent, all of Dawsonville; special niece, Aly Thurmond of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. March 9 at Sweetwater Baptist Church with the Revs. Rodney Pilcher and Mark Flowers officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
