While City of Dawsonville officials do not believe the Gold Creek Residential Development’s Swan Lake dam is at risk of imminent failure, they’re still working with the dam’s owner to make sure maintenance concerns are addressed, according to a written statement Thursday from City Manager Bob Bolz. City officials have recently gotten several questions about the status of the lake, which is privately owned by the B & K Turner Family, LLLP or Limited Liability Limited Partnership, Bolz told DCN. DCN reached out to a representative for B & K Turner Family, LLLP and was referred to the city for more information.
