City of Dawsonville recognizes employee of the quarter, employee service awards
Robin Gazaway
At the City of Dawsonville’s Oct. 18 meeting, the mayor and council members recognized Finance Administrator Robin Gazaway as both the September employee of the month and the employee of the third quarter.

During last week’s meeting of the Dawsonville City Council, the mayor and council members recognized the city’s September employee of the month, employee of the third quarter, and presented service awards to four of the city’s employees.

The council recognized Finance Administrator Robin Gazaway as the September employee of the month and then recognized her as also being named the employee of the third quarter. They presented her with certificates for both achievements.

“[Gazaway’s] financial expertise is unsurpassed, she has learned our systems quickly and made many improvements,” City Manager Bob Bolz said. “Her attitude of teamwork and her personable outlook fits in well with our winning team and makes it better.”

In addition to recognizing Gazaway, the council recognized four city employees for their years of dedication and continued work to make the city a better place: Utilities Treatment Plant Operator Kyle Richardson for one year of service to the city, Custodian Jon Davis for three years of service, Planning and Zoning Building Inspector and Code Enforcement Officer Clay Moss for three years of service and Human Resources Manager Donna Blanton for four years of service.

The four employees were presented with October service awards by the mayor and council members during their meeting.
