'Dear Santa': What students in Dawson County asked Santa Claus for this year

With just days to go until Christmas, people young and old throughout Dawson County are feeling the holiday spirit and ready for a visit from Santa Claus. 

This year the Dawson County News received hundreds of Letters to Santa from students in the Dawson County School System. In-demand items for Christmas 2020 included the PlayStation 5, AirPods, LOL Dolls, Hoverboards and dozens of other toys and games. But the holiday wishing didn't just go one way this year, scores of youngsters asked Santa to keep family and friends healthy, and told Santa to stay safe on his yearly trip round the earth.
