Law enforcement needs the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of sexually assaulting multiple people at department stores in Dawson County.
“The suspect is a white male, approximately 5’5” to 5’8” tall,” Sheriff Jeff Johnson said in an emailed statement. “As depicted in the photograph, the suspect is of medium weight. The suspect is described as having shoulder-length brown hair which he sometimes wears in a ‘ponytail’.”
The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office put out the initial BOLO Monday for the suspect regarding the assault of an employee at North Georgia Premium Outlets. The first reported incident happened at the outlet mall’s Boss Leggings Store on Oct. 15, Johnson said.
Over the past week, the sheriff's office has learned about “numerous other reports of crimes committed by this individual,” according to a follow-up Facebook post Wednesday.
Some female victims report that the suspect rubbed himself against them, and others said he fondled himself, being unexposed while his hands were in his pocket.
The sheriff’s office is asking people to continue sharing the BOLO and to contact them with any information on the suspect.
People can contact Investigator Boyce with any tips at (706) 344-3535.
Dawson County News will update this story as we learn more information.
