BREAKING: North Georgia Outlets temporarily closed due to reported bomb threat

UPDATE 5:17 p.m.: As of Thursday evening, the Dawson County Sheriff's Office did not find anything suspicious at the North Georgia Outlet Mall. The mall has been reopened, and the DCSO will continue to investigate the reported threat. 

The North Georgia Outlet mall in Dawsonville is currently closed due to a reported bomb threat, according to Dawson County Sheriff Jeff Johnson. 

The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a thorough search throughout the premises for any suspicious objects or other things harmful to the general public. As of now, there has been no confirmed sighting of anything of that nature.
