On July 24, Dawsonville Dance Studio held an open house event celebrating one year of being open for business under the management of new owner Ensley Sisk.

Sisk purchased the studio in the summer of 2020 and opened last August with 17 students enrolled. Since then, the studio has grown to 33 students plus an additional 12 from Grace Community Church, which is located next to the studio.

According to studio management, during the 2020-2021 season the studio was able to hold two recitals, as well as hire a second dance instructor. Sisk will also be able to hire another new employee for the upcoming season.

Sisk held an open house on July 24, thanking her current students and encouraging participation from prospective new students for the 2021-22 dance season.
