The Performing Arts Center at Dawson County High School was magically transformed into a forest full of more than one hundreds pieces of artwork last week for the annual DCHS winter art show. The theme “Magical Forest” lived up to its name with lit up trees, painted creatures and enchanting murals surrounding the panels of art on display. “I got the idea because I thought artwork would fit perfectly within a magical forest because art is magical and beautiful and so is a forest with magical creatures,” said director Julianne Jones during the art show reception Dec. 6.
