Two Dawson County High School seniors were among five selected from the area to receive a scholarship from the Appalachian Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals on April 22.

Brittney MacDonald and Anna Howland qualified for the scholarship based on their plans to continue education in the business field.

Scholarship award winners were announced during the 17th annual administrative professionals appreciation luncheon in Jasper.

Scholarship funds are made possible by a donation given to the chapter through the Operation Round program provided through Amicalola EMC.
