Interact Club kicks off season with environmental clean up

The Dawson County High School Interact Club collected more than 100 pounds of litter at its annual clean-up event at the Devil’s Elbow last week.


The clean up kicks off the club’s 2010-11 project schedule according to participant Selina LeMoon.


Past projects include filling shoeboxes for needy children, volunteering at a soup kitchen, and beautification and Christmas decorating at the Dawson County Senior Center.


Keep Dawson County Beautiful collected and disposed of the bagged trash for the recent event.
