FBLA students go to state

The Dawson County High School FBLA members once again made their presence known at the state conference in Atlanta on March 26 and 27.

  

After sending 15 competitors from region to the state conference, the local group walked away with seven state winners and two students moving on to the National FBLA Competition this July in Nashville, Tenn.

  

Placing at the state level were:

  

• Audra Vaughters - 10th place in job interview

  

• Logan Porter - 10th place in future business leader

  

• Grant Shope - sixth place in business calculations

  

• Chris Bywaltz - fourth place in business calculations

  

• Cody Hall - fourth place in public speaking

  

• The team of Brittney MacDonald and Logan Porter placed second in desktop publishing.

  

MacDonald and Porter will be representing Dawson County FBLA and the State of Georgia this summer at nationals.
