Dawson County voters will have the opportunity to extend a current one-cent sales tax for the Dawson County school district for the next five years.

The vote will be held Nov. 3 during a special election.

All polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Early voting will be held Oct. 12-29, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dawson County Board of Elections and Registration, 462 Memory Lane, Suite 150, Dawsonville.

If approved, the money raised can be used for several new construction and district-wide improvements. For a complete list, click on the sample ballot.
