City of Dawsonville Mayor, the Honorable Joe Lane Cox is currently in the critical care unit at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

He has taken a turn for the worse, but hes still hanging in there, said Mayor Pro-tem, James Grogan.

Cox is listed in serious condition following an extended period of declining health.
