A College Park woman faces a litany of charges in connection with more than $13,000 in fraudulent credit card charges.
Shiakieta Chantell McCoy, 26, is being held without bond at the Dawson County Detention Center.
She was taken into local custody March 28, charged with eight counts each of financial transaction card fraud, first degree forgery and financial identity fraud.
Dawson County Sheriff's Maj. Tony Wooten said McCoy fraudulently made herself an authorized user on two separate victims' credit cards and then used the account numbers to shop at North Georgia Premium Outlets last summer.
"She purchased more than $13,000 of merchandise and a large amount of gift cards," he said. "She did not have the physical credit cards. She had accessed the accounts and made herself an authorized user of the cards."
According to Wooten, the warrants for McCoy's arrest were issued in October.
"She was picked up by another agency and turned over to our custody," he said.
