Drug agents were on the scene Wednesday morning of what they are calling a methamphetamine lab at a home on Hanging Dog Road in southeastern Dawson County.
Maj. Ray Goodie with the Dawson County Sheriff's Criminal Investigation Division confirmed that investigators, along with emergency and fire personnel, were attempting to dismantle the suspected drug lab.
Officers wearing orange hazardous material suits were seen transporting items from the home just before noon.
The lab was located inside a single-wide trailer set back from the road.
Marked with no trespassing, private property and security camera warning signs, the property surrounding the home was littered with debris, tractor trailers and dozens of presumably junk vehicles.
Sheriff's spokesman Capt. Tony Wooten said two suspects are currently in custody.
