A Dawsonville man arrested last week is accused of sexually abusing two girls.

Jose Francisco Gonzalez, 40, is charged with a single count of child molestation and two counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes. The charges are felonies.

Dawson County Sheriff's Maj. Tony Wooten said "the incidents took place in southeast Dawson County between June 2012 and May of this year."

According to the sheriff's reports, the girls, who are both younger than 16, reported the abuse to officers.

Gonzalez on Friday appeared before a magistrate, who set his bond at $70,000.

As a condition of the bond, he may have no direct or indirect contact with the victims, according to a court clerk.

He must also report to pre-trial services within 24-hours of his release from the Dawson County Law Enforcement Center, where he remained Tuesday afternoon.
