A 22-year-old Dawsonville man has been indicted on several charges after he reportedly disrupted traffic last summer on Ga. 400.

Luke Evans will face two counts of reckless conduct and one count each of first-degree burglary and criminal trespass, according to an indictment handed down last week by the Forsyth County Grand Jury.

Evans was arrested Sept. 4 at the end of a two-hour manhunt that began after he crashed his truck and then attempted to enter vehicles stopped on Ga. 400 in north Forsyth.

"His act of running in traffic on Georgia 400 causing drivers to swerve their vehicles [that could] cause harm to and endanger the safety of said persons and the disregard constituted a gross deviation from the standard of care which a reasonable person would exercise in the situation," the indictment reads.

It goes on to note that Evans also reportedly entered a home on Settingdown Road and damaged a screen door.
