The Fourth of July is a time to celebrate all things America with food, family and a fireworks show. This Fourth of July, here are several options of fireworks shows going on in the North Georgia community. 

Dahlonega Fourth of July Parade and Celebration

The City of Dahlonega will hold its annual Independence Day celebration with events all day on July 4, including a 5K race at 8 a.m., patriotic parade at 11 a.m., concerts inn Hancock Park at 2 and 4:30 p.m., and a fireworks show at the University of North Georgia’s drill field beginning at dusk.

City of Cumming July Fourth Annual Celebration

The City of Cumming will celebrate Independence Day with its annual steam engine parade at 10 a.m. and with music, alcohol, food and vendors from 4 to 10 p.m. on July 4. The fireworks display is set to begin at 9:30 p.m.

Iron Mountain “Freedom Fest” 

Iron Mountain Resort in Dahlonega will hold its annual Fourth of July festivities again this year with races throughout the day, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute concert at 7:30 and a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.

Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks 

This Gainesville celebration, hosted by the Paul E. Boling American Legion Post 7, will include free hamburgers and hot dogs, food trucks, a splash pad and a DJ. Fireworks are set to begin at dusk.

Margaritaville at Lanier Islands

Lanier Islands will celebrate the holiday all weekend long, with fireworks on July 2, 3 and 4.
