Teens rev, race responsibly at Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, nonprofit’s first “Take it to the Track” night

The smell of burnt rubber and sound of revving engines filled the air. Dozens of spectators lined the balcony and parking lot. Area teenagers gleefully raced alongside professional drivers and deputies during the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office’s and nonprofit DriveStrong’s first “AMP’d Up: Take it to the Track” event this past Saturday at Atlanta Motorsports Park.
