This spring, Dawsonville will have plenty of opportunities for citizens to enjoy the outdoors and the city’s park areas with several scheduled dates for the city’s 2023 Food Truck Fridays and farmer’s market season.

Every year, the City of Dawsonville hosts Food Truck Friday events at the city’s farmers market pavilion, located at 86 Allen Street. This year’s events are scheduled to take place once a month from May through October, and the scheduled dates are May 5, June 2, July 14, Aug. 4, Sept. 8 and Oct. 6.

All of the Food Truck Friday events are scheduled to last from 5 to 8 p.m., and any updates including the food truck lineup are posted ahead of each event on the city’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/cityofdawsonville

Also quickly approaching is the official kickoff of the 2023 season of the Amicalola Regional Farmers Market, which takes place at the city’s farmers market pavilion throughout the spring and summer each year and gives shoppers a chance to purchase locally produced fruits, vegetables, eggs and meat, as well as homemade pastries, jams, crafts and more.

This year’s opening date for the farmers market is scheduled for Saturday April 29, and the farmers market will be open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until sold out. Any updates each week are posted on the farmers market Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/amicalolafarmersmarket/
