This month, the Venardos Circus will visit the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall in Dawson County, aimed at bringing fun and awe to people of all ages. Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming attraction.

The story continues below.

The Venardos Circus is a Broadway-style, animal-free circus that has been touring the United States since its debut at the L.A. County Fair in 2014. The circus last came to the Atlanta area in 2018 when it visited Alpharetta, and this year it will set up at the North Georgia Premium Outlets from March 17 through 26.

According to a press release by the circus, this year’s tour is themed “Let’s Build a Dream”, and during its time in Dawson County there will be 14 shows over two weeks in its red-and-white striped tent.

“We are America’s circus! Our team is thrilled to return to the Atlanta area for the first time since 2018,” ringmaster and producer Kevin Venardos said in the release. “Our hearts are on the road, and we look forward to coming back to a city that was so supporting of us in our early years on tour.”

The 14 shows will include:

  • Friday March 17 at 7 p.m.

  • Saturday March 18 at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

  • Sunday March 19 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

  • Wednesday March 22 at 7 p.m.

  • Thursday March 23 at 7 p.m.

  • Friday March 24 at 7 p.m.

  • Saturday March 25 at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

  • Sunday March 26 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

According to the release, the Venardos Circus features its own custom-made big-top, a classic red-and-white striped tent, an intimate feel and limited seating.

“Guests can expect to be transported back in time to the center ring of a centuries-old tradition, but one that has been reinvented for the next generation,” the release said. “The circus performers are also the crew in this traveling tour, in keeping with circus tradition.”

Parking is free, and pre-show entertainment begins an hour prior to showtime. Concessions, including classic circus treats like popcorn, cotton candy, pink lemonade, nachos and packaged candy, are available online when purchasing tickets or when doors open. The main event lasts approximately 90 minutes, with a brief intermission.

General admission tickets start at $16.95 for youth under age 12 and $27.95 for adults. One “babe in arms” (one-year-old or younger seated in lap) is admitted free with each paying adult. Premium reserved seating as available for premium pricing at
