Clinton and Michelle Crane of Dahlonega announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Heather Michelle Crane of Dahlonega, to Dustin Aron Hendrix of Cumming.
He is the son of Aron Hendrix of Cumming and Daisy Heard of Cumming.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Delores Kirby of Dawsonville and Vera Mae Crane of Dahlonega and the late Charles Crane of Dahlonega. She is the great-granddaughter of Frances Patterson of Cumming.
She is a 2003 graduate of Dawson County High School and a 2008 graduate of Lanier Technical College in Oakwood with a license in cosmetic esthetics. She is currently employed as a personal assistant for Sue Jones, Dahlonega.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Kathleen Heard of Cumming, the late Minor Heard of Cumming and James “Frog” and Barbara Hendrix of Cumming. He is the great-grandson of Emma Hendrix of Cumming.
He is a 2000 graduate of North Forsyth High School and is currently self-employed doing boat dock repairs in Cumming.
The couple plans to wed Oct. 25, 2008 in the evening at Water’s Mill in Dahlonega. Invitations have been sent.
The couple will reside in Cumming.
