James R. Pruitt

James R. Pruitt, 91, of Cumming, died Aug. 8, 2015.

James was a veteran of World War II and was in the battle of Pearl Harbor.

His wife, Clara Wilson Pruitt; brothers, Dean and Gene Pruitt; and his sister, Mildred Samples, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, James R. and Judy Pruitt Jr. of Cumming; granddaughters, Shan Jenkins of Lawrenceville, Missy Pruitt of Cumming; great-granddaughter, Jami Pruitt of Dawsonville; great-grandson, Levi Jenkins of Waleska; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Aug. 10 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Travis Bridgeman officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
