UPDATE: Dawson County teen found safe
0808 RUNAWAY TEEN

The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office has now found a 16-year-old teen after searching for him earlier in the week.

Original story:

James Dickerson was last seen near Highway 53 West and Holcomb Road in

western Dawson County, according to DCSO’s Aug. 8 Facebook post.

He was last seen wearing black jeans and a black hoodie, with a black knit hat.

While he has no known whereabouts, the DCSO post suggested Dickerson “possibly hangs out near [the] Food Lion and skate park area” in Dawsonville.

Anyone with information about his location can call the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office’s non-emergency number at 706-344-3636.

This story will be updated.
