A woman’s body was discovered on the morning of Aug. 4, in Dawson County, according to the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office. 

The Sheriff’s Office 911 received a call about a possible dead woman at about 9:41 a.m., on Tuesday, according to Dawson County Sheriff Jeff Johnson. The body was discovered by someone working nearby. 

According to Johnson, she was found on Riley Circle off Dawson Forest Road.

“At this point, it does not appear that foul play is involved, however the investigation is ongoing,” Johnson said. 

The deceased woman’s name is not yet being released to allow time to notify the family.
