A Dawsonville woman was found dead in her home Monday following a house fire.

Dawson County Emergency Services responded to reports of a residential structure fire off Bagwell Road, off of Kelly Bridge Road, shortly before noon Monday.

Once on scene, authorities found a double-wide trailer which was 75 percent involved at the time, according to Emergency Services Chief Lanier Swafford.

Swafford said that 64-year-old Gwinnett Holtzclaw, who lived at the residence with her husband, was found dead inside the mobile home.

According to Dawson County Coroner Ted Bearden, the cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Swafford said investigators are currently working to determine the cause of the fire.
